Does supporting a capitalist society mean that we cannot also care for our sick, old and disabled neighbors?
I feel passionately attached to self determination in business but can't we also agree that the foundation of a successful society will include the space for opportunity, the basic standard of living that will allow any child born to any parent in our borders the opportunity to find their own success.
My definition of a personal foundation. Personal safety, health care, affordable healthy food, education and the opportunity to work hard.
Why does it seem to mean that those that have, rig to keep and those that do not have don't vote their interests?
I feel passionately. I think deeply and at least twice a week I hear something on NPR that compels me to quit my job and work for the cause. But then the light turns green, I take a deep breath and share a few thoughts here.
